Micro Art Bases Bring Infinity to the Deserts and Jungles
February 20, 2015 by dracs
Micro Art Studio have two new round scenic bases to send your miniatures to fight across scorching deserts or sweltering jungles.
These bases are at 55mm scale and so are well sited for some of the mid-range to large models in Infintiy. They both feature cool, scenic designs and the jungle one in particular has plenty going on.
However, the jungle bases once again present with the problem that they appear rather impractical. There is very little flat space to allow you to easily base your miniatures on it. If it weren't for this issue which a lot of their bases suffer from, I think Micro Art's would be some of the best in the business.
How do you choose to base your minis?

I don’t mind working around the ‘where to place my minis feet/paws/claws/tentacles’ issue, I even enjoy it, but I agree it isn’t great for someone who rarely wishes to push their modelling skills beyond some flock on a slotta base.
If I have to Dremel out places to put the feet I’m not interested. Plain base, add all the goodies.
