Mermaids Sing And Barbarians Rage At Hasslefree
October 2, 2017 by dracs
Two new work in progress sculpts have been unveiled by Hasslefree, a brutish Barbarian and a new take on the Mermaid.
Not Quite Disney
Hasslefree's Mermaid promises to be a bit different to the traditional depiction of the creature of folklore.
This version is somehow both more humanoid and more alien than the more usual kind. The split tail looks great, and I get the feeling that the rest will be similarly strange once the details are worked out.
The sculptor at Hasslefriesian has even suggested they might put the nose on top of her head!
Hasslefree Know What's Best In Life
The second preview is Hasslefree's latest muscled barbarian.
As a barbarian, this model is suitably bulky, heroic, and lacking in fashion sense. I particularly like the stance, which is either squaring off against something much larger, or he has forgotten something important and can't remember what it was.
Which of these two models do you like best?
