Meridian Rally The Steampunk Militia On Kickstarter
July 20, 2015 by brennon
Meridian Miniatures are back in their Steampunk world with the Steampunk Militia Kickstarter where they are looking to fund the arming of the populace. See what you think of them so far below as well as a few of their extras...
Up In Arms...
The main set of models to check out are the Militia Command and the ten man squad of Militia that you'll be fighting through the streets with on the tabletop. I particularly like their strange Victorian charm and odd face masks which make them see a bit eerie.
The models can be used within the Steam & Aether setting that was set up by Meridian since their last campaign. What I like about this set of miniatures is that they don't have many dupes (if any?) within the set. This is pretty great for small scale skirmish games and groups of models.
More Models
In addition to the models above they have been working on some additional pieces already including the Kickstarter Exclusive model called 'Benefactor'...
They also have some Female Militia sculpts that will be unlocked as an Add-On once they hit the £1,400 mark. There are then alternative types of troops including those with melee weapons and plenty more gubbins too.
The range is growing steadily for Meridian and Steam & Aether is looking like a nice alternative place to get your steampunk bits and bobs.
What do you think of the models?

Those are rather nice.
They look nice. Would like to see a side-by-side with similar ranges – Westwind’s stuff, that sort of thing.
I really like these, might make a pledge
