Megalith Games Begin Revising Their Godslayer Starter Sets
October 12, 2015 by brennon
Megalith Games have looked to the Wyldfolk Of Annyr and revising the models that are part of their Starter Set in Godslayer. You can see how they are turning out below...
The idea behind this is to fix some of the weaker models within the range from wave one and re-release them during wave two of the game. The Wyldfolk were always a very interesting factions but they did have some marmite looking miniatures.
The new set looks great and I love the use of so many antlers and bone within the set. It looks like we might also be getting some additional weapon options which is neat. The leader you saw at the very top has two swords but in the larger group picture he has a spear.
What do you think?

Those are impressive.
These guys have seemed fairly quiet of late, but I’m glad to see they are still ticking over in the background- I picked up their two book set and though I never played a game the rules seemed very Hordes-esque and the background book was a very interesting read- some cool Factions in there… Maybe it’s time for a second look? 🙂
Not a bad idea, I wish they would drop the scale from 32mm to 28mm though.
I have some Mortans and think the basic legionaries are just too big. I think this is fine for the Heroes, but for the basic troops it is too distracting. Orcs and Beastmen can throw the scale out the window, but for regular humans I really dislike scale creep.
