Meet The Significant Seven Dwarves By RBJ Games Company
April 24, 2017 by brennon
The Significant Seven are a set of Dwarves coming to the tabletop via Kickstarter thanks to RBJ Games Company. Take a look at these fellows who straddle all manner of genres and themes...
The idea behind the project is to bring to life a series of Dwarves with their animal companions as well as some accompanying collections to go alongside them. For starters, here we have the different characters and their buddies...
As well as these rather loveable fellows you'll need something for them to fight and that's where the huge horde of goblins comes in that can also be snapped up as part of the campaign.
Yep, that's a lot of greenskins. Battling goblins has always been a fun pastime of the Dwarves but they also need something to defend and that's where these loveable Halflings would make great villagers you're trying to protect.
If cute and deadly is more your thing then maybe you'd prefer the Hareballs? It was surprising seeing these on the Kickstarter but I love the little critters even though they'd probably gnaw your face off!
Are you tempted to dive in on this weird and wonderful collection? The campaign currently has around twenty-four days left to run at the time of writing and it has nearly met its funding goal.
Let me know your thoughts in the comments below!

Oh lordy. Hareballs as counts-as-squigs?
rabid rabbits.
These’re just cool.
Beautiful concept …Beautiful minis
41 goblins vs 7 dwarfs… It hardly seems fair now 4100 Goblins would make it close …but only just
love the look of all the goblins.
Awesome ! Thanks for the post @brennon, I knew that you might fancy these. The sculpts are really characterful and paint up marvelously. I painted these Dwarves (& the witch) so they’ve really become real special to me.
They’ve just added a single Dwarf Pledge too, for people looking to snipe a figure for RPG games among other things.
I posted a lot of pictures of these in the Painting forum, It would be awesome if anyone who read this went to peep that post out to see the Dwarves more in detail.
Much peace,
Malev
The hareballs win this set for me. They could be alternative squigs. But they could also be useful in other games like Infinity as small remotes or symbiomates, random enemies in Super Dungeon Explorer and probably a bunch of other games with a chibi flair.
