Check Out Medbury’s Fantasy & Historical Releases For February
February 9, 2023 by brennon
Medbury Miniatures has been showing off their newest 3D Printable miniatures for the month of February. There is another good selection of releases that cover both the Fantasy and Historical genres. We'll start with the Fantasy side of things!
Dobrynya, Boyar Of Torgorod // Medbury Miniatures
One of the miniatures from the collection is the heroic Dobrynya, Boyar Of Torgorod. This fellow has been elevated by those around him to fight in place of their terrible leader and there is both a mounted and dismounted version. As long as you make sure to work in the grizzled look to this fellow, I think you'd have a good stand-in for the heroic Bard from Middle-earth.
The set also breaks down to include a whole host of warriors that can follow Dobrynya into the heart of the fighting.
Torgorod Militia Swordsmen // Medbury Miniatures
I like that you've still got a mix of the well-armed in here alongside those who have clearly snapped up whatever they can find around them. This is just a small portion of the miniatures from the Fantasy collection and you could easily put together a fun warband using these for a bit of Middle-earth wargaming or something Historical if you wanted to play a bit fast and loose with things.
Fantasy Releases - February 2023 // Medbury Miniatures
The full set of releases comes with the mighty war leader alongside the rest of the Torgorod Militia but you've also got a Highlander showing off his arse and a neat new Orc Leader to take command of the forces of Evil. A solid selection of miniatures for the month of February.
February's Historical Miniatures
On the Historical side of things, we have a set of revolting Medieval Peasants. They are armed with a variety of different weapons including farming equipment and the bow that so many of the local folk would have been trained in.
Medieval Peasants // Medbury Miniatures
If you're looking to play a lot of games of The Barons' War, for example, these would be great miniatures. Additionally, these miniatures are going to be very useful in a host of games where you need to have some random bystanders that turn angry. Whilst these are Historical, these would also work in a Fantasy setting if you went down the Medieval European route.
Another awesome set of miniatures from Medbury which would be fun to get printed off for use in a variety of wargames!
What do you make of these new sets?

These figs would seem at home in lands of mud and blood with an ever present sense of being cold in my head.
Nice detailed figures for gamers.
This is my favourite release from Medbury so far and, if anyone is looking to make an army of Dale for way less money than GW would charge, combine these with the Northern Garrison stuff from Ancient City Games.
