Maxen & The Gearhawks Come To Steamforged’s Godtear
November 20, 2020 by brennon
Steamforged Games has been previewing a new Slayer Champion for use in their Fantasy game, Godtear. See what you make of Maxen who comes with his mighty Gearhawks. It sounds like the name of a Saturday morning cartoon.
Maxen & Gearhawks // Godtear
Within this set, you'll find all the bits and bobs you need in order to use Maxen on the tabletop. He is one of the Slayer Champions and works as an Artificer within your Godtear warbands. As well as Maxen you also get the Gearhawks which swoop across the tabletop.
Maxen & Gearhawks Close-Up // Godtear
All the miniatures in the set are pre-assembled so they don't need any work done to them apart from a lick of paint. Maxen looks like a particularly detailed sculpt and he is accompanied by those quirky Gearhawks which are certainly giving me a Clash Of The Titans vibe.
Are you tempted by Maxen and company for use in Godtear?

They are awesome, might need to get that game.
Nice.
Those are nice.
I wish they’d release them in a colour rotation instead of two yellow and now two red. Nonetheless, this game I really enjoy and I have sixteen teams (four of each colour), but I will wait till there another green and blue team before buying another suite of colours.
You mention 2 Red champions coming, the champion that I’d seen teased before this one was a Guardian(so Blue), a Lady holding a banner. Got a source for that red champion?
Hi I was referring to Keera (red), Luella and Jeen (both yellow) that came out this year. With Maxxen you have 2 red and 2 yellow for the new releases. Sorry if I confused you.
Yeah ok, I figured I’d missed another one. There’s a Blue teased so at least you’ll have that
