Meet The Mask Makers Of TTCombat’s Carnevale
February 9, 2024 by brennon
TTCombat are now taking pre-orders for the new Mascareri set that introduces the Mask Makers of Venice to the different factions of Carnevale. What strange abilities will you be able to confer on your gangs with these crafty tinkerers?
The Mascareri // Carnevale
This set comes with six new miniatures that have learned their trade from their particular factions and are now spilling their secrets to rival factions! In-game, the Mask Maker can gift a gang member an ability from another faction meaning that you can play around with the status quo.
Mask Maker - Rashaar // Carnevale
This means that you can transfer the abilities of The Guild, The Vatican or perhaps even the Strigoi to the different members of your gang. The playstyle of your gang can vary greatly from its original skillset and give you options for taking on scenarios in different ways.
Mask Maker - Vatican // Carnevale
There are some awesome miniatures in this set, some of which I've shown off in more detail above. If you're someone who has always collected one faction, maybe this could be a chance for you to go and explore different ones and perhaps get a taste for painting their miniatures!
The Mascareri Miniatures // Carnevale
Each of the resin miniatures (32mm scale) comes with a cobblestone base and should be fun to throw into the mix. I love that each of the factions are embodied in these Mask Makers and there is a good mix of both historical nods and more Pulpy Carnevale ones in there throughout.
Are you going to be picking up The Mascareri for your games of Carnevale?

I really like these and they are probably going to find their way into a future rp session as a secret society. I can also see using them for a masquerade ball scenario. Cultists maybe.
Those would have been quite poignant about 2 years ago.
