Martial Arts & Sci-Fi Style Combines For Puppets War’s Raijin Trooper
August 5, 2016 by brennon
Puppets War are combining the Far East with some Sci-Fi awesomeness as they add their new Raijin Trooper to their webstore for use in your games.
By picking up a few of these, that certainly have a bit of a Mortal Kombat feel about them, you could combine them with a Shinigami Striker to create a warband of Far Eastern warriors.
Armed with a deadly blade and wearing a very cool mask I think this fellow looks grand. My only complaint would be that the gun he is holding just doesn't look right. It seems a bit small to me!
As a heads up he rocks in at the 28mm scale so he has plenty of applications for tabletop use.
What do you think of this chap?

Very nice.
@brennon: I think the gun looks alright. Looks like a small, weak pistol used for opportunity attacks rather than a standard firearm; something like you’d see in a cowboy film that poker players would have concealed up their sleeves or James Bond would make out of part of his shoe and his belt buckle.
Or it might not actually be a gun – could be a taser, which would probably be handier in a handtohand combat that a firearm.
picture can be sharper, for what I can see this guy has potential, for 1 of my RPG projects.
Would have preferred a wakizashi instead of a pistol.
But this works for me , and the PuppetWars casting is crisp.
I like models like this that mash two different themes.
