War Banner Marshal The Spear Ashigaru In Latest Preview

The very talented sculptor behind War Banner and their Warring Clans range has now finished some more models. Here we have the Spear Ashigaru by Stavros Zouliatis.

These are probably some of the best looking Samurai-era models that I've seen out there in the world for us wargamers and the amount of character added to the mix for them is great. I don't normally like models to be too static but these have a quiet and stoic nature to them.

I think they'd also make very good resting guards if you were to ever create a skirmishing scenario where you're trying to sneak into a castle. Maybe they'd have to lose the back banners though.

As they've said over on their Facebook Page, there is just one more pack of Archers to finish and the first forty miniatures for their range will be completed. Hopefully, we'll get to take a look at these in more detail when we get to Salute next weekend.
