March Sees Kabuki Tell the Story of Red Riding Hood
December 19, 2014 by dracs
Kabuki have published a teaser image showing the render of the next fairy tale to be given their Big Sisters 54mm pin-up treatment. Gather round and let us tell the story of Little Red Riding Hood.
Well, that's not the Red Riding Hood story I remember. Yes, once again we see a fairy tale figure with a beautiful figure.
Kabuki's render promises us another excellent sculpt. The model definitely has the classic pin-up style look to it and I think even at this early stage promises to be better than Kabuki's previous Snow White miniature. It will be interesting to see the final piece painted up when it appears in March.
Oh Kabuki, what Big Sisters you have! What fairy tale character do you want to see Kabuki make next?
Where’s the Big Bad Wolf then?
That would be me. 😀
Bwahaha!
My, my gradma Oriskany, what big eyes you have…
Yup, when you sculpt Red Riding hood like that, all the quotes from the original tale start to sound creepy. 😉
Right, @vetruviangeek ?
“My, Oriskany, what big teeth you have!”
“The better to, eh . . . I mean . . . . wow, stopped myself just in time on that one, didn’t I? Bad wolf, BAD wolf!” (slaps himself)
Yes – we are rapidly progressing from mostly innocent childhood fable (though not really all that innocent, what with the eating of grandmothers and the not at all subtle admonitions against girls and young women going anywhere on their own, even to see people they know and other family members) toward the territory of… um… let’s just say ‘adult parody’.
Bad wolf indeed… 😉
No worries, sir. That’s as far as I go. 😀 At least on this site.
That looks really promising.
said the wolf?
Nice. 😀
Red Riding
no hood
It’s putting a whole new meaning on getting eaten by the Wolf.
Fnarr, Fnarr!
You nasty wolfies! ;D
