A small project but one hard to pass up. Macrocosm are now on Kickstarter with another fun 28mm Fantasy miniatures. This time, it's a Dwarven King On Throne, ready to lord of his throng of warriors just aching to go and kick some Goblin butt!

Dwarven King On Throne - Macrocosm Miniatures

Dwarven King On Throne // Macrocosm Miniatures

This new miniature has been sculpted by Alessio Cisbani and will be produced by Macrocosm in resin or metal depending on your preference. You get an awesome King sitting on his throne with hammer at the ready. He has the look of some of the Mantic Dwarves about him so he could well fit in with the Pannithor aesthetic.

As well as the Dwarf King, you also get the King's Guard who watches over him as a faithful retainer. A good champion option for your armies if you wanted to use him on the battlefield.

A second Guard has been unlocked as part of the project so that you can have both the faithful right and left hand of the King at any time. You could even see about mounting the Dwarf King and his throne on a palanquin and have him carried to battle so these guards aren't just restricted to the throne room.

If the campaign manages to reach further than a pet will be unlocked for the Dwarf King, also sculpted by Alessio Cisbani. Who wouldn't want a faithful Dragon by their side? Add-Ons from the existing Macrocosm range are also available as part of this project so if you're in need of some Dwarves, this is the place to find them!

As mentioned, this is just a small project but one that might add something fun and unique to your collection. The sculpting is great as always and has a nice Oldhammer feel to it. The miniatures should fit in with a lot of different armies that people already own.

Will you be picking up this Dwarf King?
