Macrocosm has taken to Kickstarter once more with a new range of Sci-Fi miniatures for you to use on the battlefield. The new Chaos Space Dwarves are out to kick ass and take names for some dark and twisted master.

The core of the new releases focuses on these Power Armoured individuals. They have a very awesome Oldhammer feel to them and would be a good match for some of those more old-school miniatures out there. I like the idea of playing as an evil army of pretty colourful individuals rather than just going straight for grimdark.

As well as a core squad armed with regular weapons, you've also got that heavy weapon user on the left there. The miniatures come from Adam Frank and are available in resin, allowing you to get stuck into all the details.

As well as these heavily armoured individuals, we also have The Twisted. These are your regular Chaos Dwarves who have been affected by terrible mutations.

All of these poor bearded fellows have been "gifted" with some snapping claws and crawling tentacles. It seems like the leader has got off ok though although we don't know what mutations lie beneath his armour.

Last but not least, we also have some actual Demons! There are four of these that, once again, offer up a fun Oldhammer option for your tabletops.

You could use these as your Pink and Blue Horrors within your games or just go with a range of wild colours and paint them up however you like. I love their big dumb faces and those tubular fingers. I could imagine wild and dangerous fire coming out of those when they are angry.

These wouldn't look out of place within the realm of Fantasy either. So, you wouldn't just be capped on using them for Sci-Fi wargames.

Are you tempted by this new collection on Kickstarter?
