What Machines Hide Behind Dust’s Silhouette Stretch Goals?
May 30, 2014 by dracs
Over in the Kickstarter for Dust: Operation Babylon a pair of stretch goals have just been unlocked, making two new units available as add-ons for the Allies and Soviets.
Now that these are unlocked, Kickstarter has moved on to a bunch of new stretch-goals, all of which are being teased in the form of intriguing silhouettes.
However, the one that has caught our interest most of all has to be the silhouette of the new SSU Heavy Tank.
The gun on that thing is massive! Its inclusion in Dust will make for some heavy artillery action in the game. As of me writing this, the Kickstarter is currently at $250,000, so there is still a fare bit of time until this will appear, but I really hope we will get a better look of it before then.
Will you be chipping into Dust: Operation Babylon?

While I am not taking SSU, it is good to see more stuff appearing as I probably will pick that up eventually. It looks like a reuse of the SSU heavy tank chassis with a new turret – that is the sort of thing that happened in real life so it is fair enough.
It would be nice to see more backers appearing – more freebies 🙂
375K one is clearly supporting BAG technology
by which I mean Big Ass Gun
I like the look of the FlaK style guns on the Axis Walker at the 425k goal! 😀
The Steel Guard and SSU tank are looking fantastic, well the silhouette is anyway 🙂
Was really hoping that tank would be for SSU; they’re top of my wish list. Not disappointed 🙂
That tank looks roomy enough to store at least five rounds internally. Well, maybe four because it will need an autoloader as well. Does it come with a train of tracked haulers to keep it supplied with ammo?
Tezla cannon? 🙂
I tried to resist but it was just to good not to, looking forward to my Axis force turning up. Keep on pledging people you know it makes sense.
