Lucid Eye Fight Like Rabbits & Weave Celtic Spells
April 9, 2019 by brennon
Lucid Eye has developed their Blades & Souls series with two new characters added into the mix this week. The first of these is the swashbuckling Rabbit Fighter.
This fellow comes in 28mm scale and would be a great option for those looking to play as an animal warrior in a role-playing game or perhaps a skirmish game like Burrows & Badgers. I love the idea that you could paint him up like the Rabbit from Alice In Wonderland, perhaps as part of the Queen Of Heart's court?
I do like the idea of the Wonderland theme with white fur giving way to cream and deep red for his armour/clothing. He is covered in lots of little detail work here and there which will no doubt make him a joy to paint too.
Wyrd Celtic Ways
As well as the Rabbit Fighter, the team also got Steve Saleh to sculpt up this Celt Witch too.
Once again, she'd be a good shout for a Fantasy game but you could also use her in your Historical games too. I like the idea of her being one of the people you might encounter in a game like Blood Eagle or Ragnarok though. Imagine her emerging from her cave, calling the woods to her side as fae creatures start to attack your warband!
What do you think of these new additions to the Blades & Souls series?
