Lucid Eye Releases Their Own Game Engine For Free
November 5, 2019 by brennon
Lucid Eye has been working away in the background and they have now released the Lucid Eye Game Engine which has been written by the masterful Rick Priestley.
As you can tell from the image, you can now head over to their webstore and download the rules for free using the promotional code. The rules are slim and quick to skim through and give you a basic skirmish system which you can use to play out clashes on the tabletop.
As well as the basic rules and sample scenarios you'll also find rules for playing as Cro-Magnons and Amazons from the Savage Core world. This set of rules could then be used alongside many of the PDF Adventures that Lucid Eye has worked on for a variety of their game lines.
Make sure to give the rules a flick through and let us know what you think of them.

I’ll have a good look at this. Simple generic skirmish rules could prove really handy (plus Rick Priestly goodness!)
I hate it when you have to register for free stuff. Just means your name and phone are added to another mailing list so it can be hacked by some moron.
I doubt that Lucid Eye is linked to any Russian/Chinese/North Korean/Hydra spy networks.
I know… but I get enough spam as it is… and it’s not like I need another skirmish game.
I thought I read somewhere that Rick was retiring from commercial game writing. Is this his final game?
