The Lions Of Casterly Rock Expansion Announced For GoT Card Game
June 3, 2016 by deltagamegirl22
Lions of Casterly Rock is the second deluxe expansion for A Game of Thrones: The Card Game. This set invites you to take your place among the big names of House Lannister.
“My brother is undoubtedly arrogant,” Tyrion Lannister replied. “My father is the soul of avarice, and my sweet sister Cersei lusts for power with every waking breath. I, however, am innocent as a little lamb.”
–George R.R. Martin, A Game of Thrones
Within this expansion, the Lannisters explore new themes, launching an ambush with their Clansman allies, redoubling their focus on the intrigue challenge, and sending out marauders to pillage the lands of Westeros. There's also new versions of the most iconic Lannister characters, including Tywin Lannister, Cersei Lannister, Ser Jaime Lannister, and Tyrion Lannister.
In typical fashion, you’ll also gain two new non-loyal cards for each other faction with new characters entering the game for the first time, including Edric Storm, Victarion Greyjoy, Trystane Martell, and Jeyne Westerling. Finally, you’ll have the chance to reshape your plot decks with seven new plots (six neutral and one loyal to House Lannister).
There's just something so satisfying about playing as the characters we've come to know and love (or hate) from one of the most popular shows in recent years and Fantasy Flight Games says we'll see the game in retail stores in third quarter of 2016.
Will you be exploring the House Lannister in this latest expansion for A Game of Thrones: The Card Game?

It would be fair to say I’m looking forward to this.
Me too, Ben! 🙂
Those cards are tempting me to start GoT LCG.
I binge bought all the parts of this game that are already out not to long ago. It’s a lot of fun, and I’m kind of hoping they do boxes like this for all the houses, eventually.
Good news. The first eight boxes will be focused on one of the houses each 🙂
