Lion Tower Miniatures Show Off A Mighty Warforged Barbarian!
October 25, 2019 by brennon
Lion Tower Miniatures has been showing off some more of their offerings coming up for Patreon backers this month. We start with a piece of concept art we'd seen before but turned into a glorious render with the Warforged Barbarian.
This is an awesome looking model. I've talked about how much I like Warforged before and this is why. You get to do some cool stuff with what you'd think is simply just a regular old construct. I love the idea of a Warforged who has decided to bring all his fury to the fore, perhaps even powered by a magical crystal infused with wild magic from other realms.
As well as the options presented here, Lion Tower Miniatures has also talked about some optional heads and weapons also becoming available to those who back on Patreon. You'll then be able to print all these off to make your own excellent looking Warforged warriors.
Angry Alternatives
In addition to the look at the Warforged they also showed off some of the different ways you can assemble their STL files to create variations on the Barbarian model in their collection. For example, here we have one with a Tiefling look.
This is an awesome looking miniature which would be a nice way to do Tieflings, breaking away from the norm as they tend to just become Warlocks, Wizards and Rogues. There is also this helmed version of the model which just looks exceptionally radical...if I can use an old 90's phrase.
As with pretty much everything from Lion Tower Miniatures, there are a variety of different options available for Patreon backers. So, if you're delving into 3D printing at home this is a good way to start trying out some more complicated models to see how they come out.
There will no doubt be plenty of help for those who want to get started so make sure you ask over on Facebook if you're unsure.
What do you make of these previews?

One foot-on-rock-not-hellboy and a foot-on-rock-not-skyrim-nord 😉
Three stunning figures with plenty of details.
Love the big barbarian.
OK the bottom fella has his foot on a rock, but that’s great posing.
Man, that’s a high rock-under-foot. Must be giving the boys a good airing. Or they’re marking their territories.
