Lion Tower Draft In The Kingsguard For January On Patreon

Lion Tower Miniatures has been showing off some new miniatures as part of their 3D Printing Patreon. The Kingsguard are on the march and looking to battle for their master in all manner of different Fantasy games.

These characters would be rather awesome for you to include as part of a big Fantasy army, battling around the feet of their King and making sure that he survives each encounter with the enemy. They would also be pretty awesome as a skirmishing warband too. Imagine them as the 'ronin' of their world, their King dead and now seeking retribution on the one who fell him.

There is even a little bit of a quirky Final Fantasy to their design with this fellow. You could imagine this being a Chocobo of some kind, ridden by a valiant knight as they charge into battle.

As well as the two characters above there is also a few more regular members of the Kingsguard who could well be retainers of the character at the top of this story.

I really like this way of supporting companies who are exploring the ways in which 3D Printing is changing our industry. It allows you a deeper look into the process and means that you can begin to almost feel like you're working alongside them, developing your own skills with the technology as the sculptors do.
