V&V Miniatures Line Up Their New Norman Crossbowmen

V&V Miniatures have a new range of Norman Crossbowmen who are lining up ready to fire their lethal bolts into oncoming Saxons and Vikings on the tabletop.
Kitted out in their quilted jackets which would have provided them with a modicum of protection against blades and arrows they would have been quicker to move than their foot soldier friends and could fire a nasty array of shots into the enemy before they'd even be ready.
The set comes with eight models which are perfect for dropping into your games of SAGA and the like.

they look great and in the new year once I have my hands on the footsore Normans I made add a unit of these to prevent too much replication.
