LEGO Jump Into The TARDIS For Upcoming Doctor Who Sets!
February 5, 2015 by brennon
LEGO and their Ideas Team have shown off a preview of another neat set that I reckon will get the Whovians excited on here. They're making a neat Doctor Who set and it should be coming out later this year!
As you can see this gives us a snap shot of the types of creatures, enemies and characters we're going to see in LEGO form. As well as there being the David Tennant era Doctor with Rose they also have Tom Baker's take on the Doctor with his iconic scarf. It will be neat to see what they do with the modern Doctor too!
Is this a set you'd pick up as a Doctor Who fan?

Had to take a second look. Thought it was a 40k release at first 😉
Nah
No foot on a small piece.
Though to be fair that would bloody hurt and their is no armour save
*there,, damn it THERE not THEIR!
Why is their no edit function
Their, their. We know what you meant :-).
Well that looks interesting.
Fuxsake, is nowhere in BoW free of juvenile GW bashing?
Sorry mate, I just can’t leggo
Thing is @chibi “mate”, I’ve stopped reading GW threads on BoW these days so I don’t have to wade through this puerile crap.
Life is a beach, and then you drown.
But I don’t intend to throw in the towel just yet
A mild play on the stereotypical “GW bashing” shouldn’t drive you into being a caustic clown. Relax, I poke a bit of fun at GW now and then but I also just ignore those people who rant about them senselessly. We all know the gaming industry wouldn’t be as epic as it is now without the efforts of GW in the past and today. 🙂
Was chatting with my son and he reckons that Lego have a webpage where people submit designs they have made and then do something like a kickstarter/vote thing. Most popular get made in limited release kits.
Somebody should make a lego titan and submit it.
They do. It’s where the Back to the Future deLorean and the Ghostbusters Ecto-1 sets came from.
@chibi and @cpauls1 I think my comment has inadvertantly left a great opportunity to comment on the medium currently used by the GW design team…..
The Lego system has it’s advantages
Just think, you can give your minis any weapons load out you want
With no need for magnetisation.
You can build the terrain with it, you could even remove terrain as it gets destroyed.
Sod it I’m convinced, Lego is the way forward!
Have actually played a couple of the Ganesha systems with Lego.
Some folks really get into that.
Damn it @chibi .Now I’m having regrets… thinking I may have insulted LEGO aficionados.
You don’t want to do that.
They’ll knock your block off
Okay that Darlek is cute
I was given a Dalek soap-on-a-rope for Christmas
EXFOLIATE!! EXFOLIATE!!
(sorry, I just couldn’t resist)
But hey, resistance is futile anyway, right? lol
Is this real? And will it be for sale in the US???
I’ve been wanting Doctor Who LEGOs for decades.
