Warcradle released a couple of new goodies over the weekend at Salute 2019 for Wild West Exodus. The first of these was a new Legendary character, Burson Carpathian. Check out this mash-up of flesh and steel.

Mortally wounded in an assassination attempt Carpathian was reforged into this new body that you see here. Whilst his brilliant mind remains whilst once he was calculating and detached, he is now fickle and irrational and tends to end up ripping people apart as you can see here.

His strength was increased to an insane level and he now carries around that Atomic Minigun so he can kill you from range too. As you can imagine, he is quite the powerful ally to have to hand but many of his own supports still fear what he might do to them if he is displeased.

I quite like what they've done with the scenic base here, giving you a sense of the brutality that Carpathian brings to the table, but there's something I'm not so sure about in his details which all seem a bit awkward. I suppose that's going to be the case when you get this much work done but something about it all feels a little off to me.

I think I would have liked to have seen him with a roar on his face too rather than that detached cold stare. It would have portrayed the scene better in my opinion and been the true antithesis to that scientist that once existed.

Bloody Banditos

As well as Carpathian the team at Warcradle also released some new Posse Sets. You can actually win these over on the Salute Live Blog! First up we have The Bloody Espionosas.

As much a band of musicians as they are bandits, many towns will overlook their notoriety in favour of letting them perform for them. Well, I don't think you have a lot of choices to say no when the band are as heavily armed as these fellows are.

One of my favourite miniatures from the set is the original leader of the gang, Vivian. That mutated beast was shot in the back by a bounty hunter only to continue living, warping and twisting into the mountain of rage that you see here.

I think if you're looking for a colourful and characterful Posse in the game then this would probably be your best bet. You'd have a great time with the painting and they offer up a lot of interesting choices in gameplay too.

Warped Experiments

We also have the Tainted Biology Posse for you to check out too.

As you might have guessed, this Posse features a bunch of mutated and warped individuals by Dr Viktor Beite. If you wanted to have fun with the hobby then this once again offers up some great options for the painters out there.

Once again, it's nice to see that Wild West Exodus still features lots of diverse and interesting Posses for you to play as, giving you a chance to do something entirely different from your friends. I wonder if Bane wants his mask back...
