Para Bellum Wargames has another set of pre-orders for you to check out for both Conquest: The Last Argument Of Kings and Conquest: First Blood. We start with a look at some new characters for The Hundred Kingdoms and The Spires though which will be handy specialists!

Armsmaster - Conquest

Leading the way we have an Armsmaster who looks like a highly skilled individual who has seen plenty of battles during his time. I think the pose for this fellow is cool as he's drawing twin swords to slice and dice his enemies. I imagine he is going to be a killer addition to a First Blood force.

As well as this up close and personal melee fighter above we've also got the explosive option for The Spires known as the Catabolic Node.

Catabolic Node - Conquest

Catabolic Node // Conquest: The Last Argument Of Kings

This shambling and quivering mass of flesh and bone stumbles forwards towards the enemy lines before exploding in a shower of gore. What better way to break through the enemy lines than with this engineered bio-bomb? Will you be taking more than one of these in your army?

New Conquest Warband Sets

As well as the new characters and creatures you can also add some new Warband Sets into the mix. There is one for each of the four factions that are currently available and they offer up a little bit more than the First Blood Sets we saw yesterday.

Each of these sets comes with a selection of core troops for each force plus characters to lead the way into battle too. As you can see by the labels on the boxes, these work equally well as ways to start your large army for The Last Argument Of Kings and as skirmishing forces for First Blood.

These are obviously more expensive options for Conquest but I like that you get both rulebooks in the box meaning that you can dive straight in and play from a skirmishing level all the way up to mass battle as you paint more miniatures.

Could this be the entry point that works for you?
