Lead Adventure Experience Noresmian Nights On Kickstarter
January 30, 2019 by brennon
Spices and glittering gems are on offer once you visit the markets of Noresmi with Lead Adventure on Kickstarter. A new collection featuring sculpts by Igor Karpov takes you beyond the bounds of Bruegelburg to a fascinating and rich new setting.
Featuring a range of different characters which you could use in role-playing and skirmish games, the variety of options from this Kickstarter is quite vast. Not only do you have characters like the Grand Vizier to interact with...
...but also wise and learned folk like the Advisors Of The Court here. Each of the figures has been sculpted with the same care and attention as the expansive Bruegelburg range, offering up characterful and distinct figures which are unlike many others on the marketplace.
There is a real sense that the characters from Lead Adventure skirt the line between 'comic' and realistic, giving them a very interesting aesthetic and letting the sculptor go wild with proportions and the like, really drawing you into what 'makes' each character tick, a bit like a caricature.
This is just a taster of what Lead Adventure have got to offer through the Kickstarter project, but if you're looking for some alternative miniatures to throw into the mix then this is well worth taking a look at. They won't be to everyone's taste as they can look a little old school to some, but if you like hand-sculpted figures I would urge you to delve deeper into this project.
I love miniatures like this where the sculptors have really put the effort into making something unique. Yes, there is great skill in some of the pieces created for larger wargames but when you get individual pieces of art like these, it's hard not to be blown away.
What do you think of the new Kickstarter project?
