Last 24 Hours for Terrible Kids Stuff’s Skah, The Master Chief
February 14, 2022 by avernos
Terrible Kids Stuff from Italy have been making fantastic sculpts for years as well as casting and prototyping for companies they have a range of display pieces. This year they have announced that they will be producing four large scale figures, one per quarter, that will be made to order for a limited time.
Skah, the Master Chief // Karl Kopinski
The first of these is Skah, the Master Chief. Based on a concept sketch by Karl Kopinski, this goblin war chief has tribal native American vibes and appears to be mounted on a hyena.

The sculpt itself comes with the resin rocky outcrop and it stands 98 mm tall to the top of the feathered headdress. Sculptor Valentin Zak has done amazing work in bringing Karl's concept to life and it has a gritty feel of a realistic goblin, while still having those whimsical notes of the fantasy race and their huge nozzles.
I also love the various textures on the model, the fur on the hyena and the goblin's gear should make this a dream project for painters who want something a little different. There is plenty of scope for free-hand work whether that is warpaint on the hyena, like Jose David Gonzalez has done on the miniature, or if you fancy adding your own to the Master Chief himself, peacock feathered headdress anyone?
If you fancy trying out a large display piece Terrible Kids Stuff has plenty to chose from, if you want to grab the first of the line of The Terrible Kids, then you need to be fast. Orders close to-day at 11:59 PM CET. February 14th if you're reading this in the future.
