LaserCutCard Test Fit Their Wasp Gunship For The Battlefield
March 17, 2015 by brennon
LaserCutCard have been working on making a neat looking flyer and it isn't made from plastic! See what you think of their Wasp Gunship that they have been test fitting. A neat alternative for those flyers you need on the battlefield?
As you can see it's as big as a Necron Crois...err, I mean Doom/Nightscythe and while that's an impressive thing indeed they have talked about scaling it down just a little bit so it isn't as huge. I think with the right detailing this would look awesome in games of MERCS especially as you could use it as the LZ where your soldiers have to both attack from and retreat to once the mission is complete.
Hopefully these guys go down the sleek and modern looking design route rather than trying to make it too grim dark and gothic.
What do you make of this so far?

Very impressive. It sure needs some detail, but the main frame looks great.
That looks very nice for something so relatively simple.
Remind me of the “Chickenhawk” papercraft model by TOPO……..
