Kyle Reese Gets Sent to Salute as First Terminator Genisys Release
April 23, 2015 by dracs
The first miniature release for the upcoming Terminator Genisys Miniatures Game is going to go on sale at Salute this Saturday; a limited edition sculpt of Kyle Reese, the soldier sent from the future.
Kyle Reese is the soldier who started it all. Sent back in time to save Sarah Connor from the Terminator, Kyle became the father of future resistance leader John Connor, saving Sarah Connor and ensuring humanity continued to fight against the machines. At least that's what happened originally, things seem a little different in Genisys.
This model was sculpted by Michael Perry, capturing Kyle as portrayed by Jai Courtney in the new movie.
This model is only available as a Limited Edition piece, seeing its release at this year's Salute, so if you want this hero of the Resistance than you should probably check out Terminator Genisys this Saturday.

Very nice, but too rich for a single for me. I’m guessing it will, however, show up as a PC on our gaming table at one point or another.
That is great looking sculpt based on iconic character.
For a one piece model its well made.
Would have preferred if they had done a double pack to include the Michael Beihn version from the original Terminator!
looks pretty good to me 🙂
price wise it seems like it’s just standard price + a bit to help with license fees …
well at least this proves that those little toyshop green army men are not the real minis 😛
… errr … although it was pretty obvious 😛 ha ha
I’m still surprised some people didn’t noticed what they really were 😛 ha ha
That’s not Kyle Reese – not the real one!
…very tasty though!
A certain Mr Perry has really captured Jai’s likeness and the sculpt is really good for a one piece miniature. This sculpt will also be available in the deluxe game box in metal so I can imagine quite a few of us will end up with it.
Good likeness but for something from the Perry camp I can’t say the mini is too impressive imho. I’m not sure if it’s the casting or the design but the hands look pretty rough and the gun looks a bit thrown together at the last minute. It may be spot on to the movie but to me that’s not a £10 mini. Looking forward to seeing what the rest of the game has to offer though.
Good likeness but what captured my eye was the gun looks like its bent .. doesnt look like it would hold together. Looks like the dude though so good work on that 🙂
