Take A Look Ahead To New Kukulkani Models For Dark Age

Continuing with their selection of previews for Dark Age the folks behind the game have now shown off a new Kukulkani art piece which shows off ranged units for this faction (probably my favourite!).
Over the next few days they'll be showing off more of the background behind these models and exploring them as miniatures too. I think these creatures look fantastic and it's another reason to get stuck into them as a range - think of the painting possibilities!

Those do look very cool! A third (or fourth?) Faction in the future, perhaps…

I like the conecpts here. Their miniatures in the pics floating around didn’t appeal to me all that much. I guess I just like the first generation Kukulkani models better. I mean the new wave still adhere to the pricipal style and are top notch scuplts, and in some regand even more so but that cost them a portion of the old ones’ perfectly measured grittyness it seems. Your comments on the Kukulkani minis stylings are interesting, and I think you’ve hit on what might be the primary difference in look between the followers of Quetzal and the followers of Ixchel.
