Kratos needs your help! And you are needed to prevent Ragnarök from causing chaos to the world before it is too late. God of War: The Card Game is now available to be picked up online and at FLGS Stores, and you can join Kratos, Atreus and many other iconic Norse characters that you have met in God of War on Playstation, in a battle of the cards from CMON.

God of War: The Card Game // CMON

Players will embark into the world of God of War, as they will take on the role of special mystical warriors whose goal is to stop the end of the world and prevent Ragnarok from unfolding.

Using the cards provided in the game, players will have to overcome several quests cooperatively by attacking different areas on the table - represented as a mosaic - to achieve their glory. Hacking and slashing at enemies to achieve full success in taking down the cogs to the end of the world.

Characters Preview // God of War: The Card Game

It will of course be a fight... no I am not talking about in-game. I am talking about picking your character. Players can play as characters such as Kratos, Mimir, Atreus, Brok, Sindri and Freya. As somebody who Platinummed the game on PlayStation, I think I have earned the right to pick Kratos as my chosen character. Bit disappointed he doesn't wield his Blades of Chaos though... BOO!

Characters are not just aesthetic. Each individual character will have abilities that you can use to progress forward through the next step of the quest.

Decks can be customised to allow your characters to power-up as they draw combat cards to add to their deck. This will adhere to a players' style in play and will constantly change the way of playing the game through random cards being placed into your hand.

Quests Preview // God of War: The Card Game

During Quests, players will come up against different conditions to allow them to succeed. This may be taking out some gnarly enemies of meeting particular objectives. Your cards on the table will provide you with all of the information needed, it is then down to the players to strategize in how they would like to go forward.

God of War: The Card Game is now available to be purchased, so be sure to let us know in the comments if you have it in your dragon hoard already!
