SoulDark Gives Your Knight Titan Some New Legs
October 3, 2016 by brennon
If you're interested in some different leg designs for your Knight Titans in Warhammer 40,000 then see what you make of SoulDark's Warstrider Pattern Legs...
The legs have three points of freedom allowing you a degree of posability to make it look like your Knight Titan is getting stuck into the action.
Additionally, the place where you'd connect up the torso has a place for magnets so they've already planned ahead in that regard!
Comparatively, a regular Imperial Knight has quite armoured legs...
You might be a little easier to take down without that armour plating but you'll look rather cool with all the exposed mechanics.
What do you think of the leg design?

is there any difference?
Yeah, their awesome lol
For $60 they’d have to offer something a lot better than the original; and I don’t think they do.
they look vulnerable with the pistons exposed.
By the looks of it, you can put the plates on from the original legs. Just that you can now articulate them as opposed to having all your knights in one stance, which is one of the few flaws with the original kit.
This is exactly what I think they are going for. From My understanding, these are basically just legs that allow more customization of stance. they look exactly like the legs from the GW kit before you apply the armor. Only difference is you can pose these differently. However I just can’t justify a 60 dollar “easy way out” to just saving that money and spending a little bit of effort converting the existing legs.
How is this not a breach of copyright/IP? They’re exactly the same except for the articulation.
Can’t copyright the idea of giant mechanical legs.
Not a chance. They have no GW insignia on them.
Nothing there to infringe on IP.
It’s a real shame that GW didn’t do the Knight kit properly at the time, especially given the offering from Dreamforge. I’ve little to no intention in buying the big kits that GW pump out these days as I have no use for them; to my mind they should have stayed in Epic. But, if I did want to get one then it would be a true centrepiece and so I’d be prepared to spend extra money getting it right. The legs themselves look great though if I was SoulDark I would have shown pics of a number of poses… Read more »
They look just like a set of generic giant walking robot legs to me. My first thought was that they could be used to create a giant Battletech

This is exacly the thing. Yopu can pose legs as you want and after this aply atandark GW Knight leg armor, all fiting for this is in place.
Another Russian company making knockoff GW parts. How boring.
Not so much meaning the Knight legs. They’re more posable and you need the other half a knight to build it, so not all bad. The “Sky-Sage on Jet Sky-Scooter” is just pure IP theft.
