Knight Models Watch The Watchmen In New Preview
September 3, 2019 by brennon
Knight Models has been previewing one of the new crews coming to the tabletop with their next host of releases. This time it's the cunning, brutal and somewhat unhinged members of The Watchmen.
The set brings to life all of the major characters from the graphic novel with Doctor Manhatten, Rorschach, Nite Owl, Silk Spectre, Ozymandias and The Comedian.
The set is great for those that want to bring together a cool diorama featuring each of the different heroes but I would suggest that having two of them sitting down isn't exactly good for gameplay purposes. They look cool sure but I don't think they're going to look any good gliding around the battlefield on their chairs.
Despite that, this should be a nice set for collectors to play around with and paint. At least Doctor Manhatten is going to be nice and easy to paint and it looks like they avoided Justin having to get out the clippers in this version too.
What do you make of The Watchmen collection?

Wow. Doctor Manhattan wasn’t present in the previous set.
I know. Now I can complete my set
They are weird but I dont hate the sitting minis. I think Rorshach could be at a less bad angle to show him off better – the light does not help where he is in the shot.
Why is Manhattan wearing underwear? I like that pose from Rorschach.
Time to get the green (or better still blue) stuff out and start rolling sausages.
Using brown stuff might just be a bit much!
He wore a black jockstrap as part of his crime fighting disguise
Yeah, it’s like Superman’s glasses. Without a good view of his genitalia, he’s easily mistaken for Tobias Funke.
nice figures.
Really wanted Rorschach and the Comedian last time around but never got them.
Just not a fan of the other models though so getting a full box isn’t for me.
Those are stunning.
Is it just me or is Silk Spectre’s costume weird?
They look like they are posing for a group publicity shot rather than ready to fight. The Owl s going to look very strange piloting a chimney around the battlefield. I think the posing was a lot better on the older metal versions.
Mostly great and I’m glad they are back for 2nd edition, but I’m not a fan of all the seated minis KM are putting out. Chair Club is a thing.
