Get Stuck Into Knight Models’ New Painting Competition
April 1, 2020 by avernos
If like me, you love Knight Model's sculpts and have either a catalogue of painted miniatures or a penchant for speed painting then Knight Models have a hell of a competition for you! To distract and delight painters young and old, Knight Models is giving away almost 500 Euros worth of prizes in a painting competition that is sure to be full of some fantastic work.
Their sculpts have long been coveted by painters for a blend of detail and sculpting that runs the gamut from understated reserve to over the top exuberance, so expect competition to be fierce. The competition itself is divided between Knight Models three ranges. The Batman, Harry Potter, and DC Universe Miniatures Games.
There are two categories for each of the ranges and you can enter once per category in each of the ranges, so you have six chances to win. The categories are;
Best Single Miniature - This is one model of any size
Best Crew - A collection of at least six miniatures from the same crew/group
There is a first place and a runner up in each category, with the winner netting a Coupon of 110 Euros and the runner up a Coupon of 55 Euros. You have up to two weeks (until 10th of April) to post your models, and the winner will be drawn on the 13th of April.
All the entries must be posted into this post on Facebook, and also sent to [email protected] email address to be counted. To paraphrase the Joker
Let's put some paint on that mini of yours!

Well if you don’t have those minis ready to go right now… ordering them is a bit of a waste… I don’t think they will be here that fast to leave enough time to paint them.
I would imagine anyone doing this would already have a fair few miniatures in their collection anyway. Or, have painted up something they’d want to submit already.
Whilst it’s a good competition with some fantastic prize support I just know only pros are ever going to win this. Don’t get me wrong we will see some fantastic work but I’d of preferred them to give smaller prizes and break it down into categories so at least your general players of their games might actually stand a chance.
Good luck folks.
