Knight Models Give A Closer Look At Joker’s New Look
August 30, 2017 by dracs
Knight Models are giving us a closer look at the new minis they are preparing for Joker's crew in Batman 2nd Ed, starting with the Clown Prince of Crime himself.
The Joker is one of the most iconic, if not THE most iconic, comic book villains and I think this sculpt has his sinister character perfectly.
I also really like the coloured plastics Knight are going with.
The Joker is incredibly charismatic, and can always get people to follow him, suicidal though that might sound. Such a figure makes up Knight's second preview.
This guy looks like just the kind of chaotic criminal Joker might let into his crew. It's a very good model, with almost as much character as that of the Clown Prince.
Are you excited to see the new minis for this 2nd edition?

Oh that looks %^^% fantastic .. those plastics are awesome ….. and in Joker purple too
Yup, looking at the card, that henchman has a nail gun…
So have Knight Models nailed it?
I’ll go stand in the corner.
heh 😀
I’m going to heavily back the Batman Boardgame Kickstarter when it hits next year and I wondered if it’s going to be possible to use the figures from that (when they arrive) with this system or is the only way to get the models stats to buy the figures?
If not, I’ll definitely pick up the Res and a few figures to keep me going for the next 18 months or so.
Knight Models have never offered the cards separately from the minis before, but from comments on social media it sounds like they MAY be doing card packs for the new edition. We know that some of the crews are being consolidated so it mast be easier for them to put sets together as an upgrade to the new edition. If those packs will include cards for these new models I have no idea. The cards are posted up in their store as product info on each pack so you could download and print them yourself, which I do for errata.… Read more »
fabulous figures.
I feel the need to point out that the new material is a ‘plastic resin’ that is spin cast, this won’t be injection molding or the like.
I’m really encouraged by the teasers that these could be superior to the metals and apparently cheaper!
nice one @ugleb mate, the very piece of info I was after.
Glad to see the joker from this starter is similar enough to the one that preceeded it in the crew with Contra August and Ringmaster clowns. The one shot gun and explosive teeth have become a staple of games I’ve played involving him.
