Knight Models’ Batman & DC New Releases Hit For June 2018
June 28, 2018 by brennon
Knight Models has now released a tide of new releases for this month, giving you new options for both the Batman Miniatures Game and DC Universe Miniatures Game. All of these are available over on their Webstore right now.
The Batman Who Laughs is the first model from the collection we're looking at which, as you might have guessed, is tied into The Joker. As you can see they are playing on the idea of how he was able to break Jason Todd with the sculpt as a gaggle of rabid Robins clutch to his legs.
These are then matched with more from the Dark Knights range with this set of three additional figures too.
When it comes to Batman we've also got a more traditional looking hero that will watch over the streets of Gotham. Here we have the version of Batman from the Rebirth line.
I like the change in style for the suit, even though I am very much a fan of the old school Animated Series look myself. A rather awesome model to portray the Caped Crusader on the tabletop.

Every good Batman needs some villains to fight and that's where the likes of The Ventriloquist & Mobsters come in.
Dodging gunfire and taking out each of these punks one-by-one sounds like a great idea for a scenario before descending on The Ventriloquist himself from the shadows. If you want to provide Batman with a more powerful foe though then Knight Models has also been working on the new version of Lex Luthor.
You can either get him in his Warsuit as you'll see here alongside one of the Heavy Troopers or dressed to impress at a business dinner...also alongside some deadly Lexcorp Troopers.
I really like this take on Lex Luthor where you're actually seeing him throw a devastating arsenal at the likes of the Justice League. I think Batman might need to call in help from Superman to deal with this problem!
Last but not least we have a new version of the model for Killer Frost.
She is most assuredly one of the villains in the world of DC and might be the femme fatale that you need to round off a scenario or campaign.
Also, that does look like something new and interesting in the background of these images, doesn't it...
What do you think of the new crop of releases?

A gaggle of rabbid robbins is possibly the best sentence ever devised
Great looking figure’s the lexcorp troopers make a fab looking gang.
I haven’t read the arc these are from, but surely the demented Robins owe more to the DCAU Tim Drake than to regular Jason Todd; Jason was beaten half to death then blown up, not emotionally broken whereas DCAU Tim was mentally tortured to turn him into Joker Jr and implanted with tech that turned him into a Joker clone years later who squared off against the Terry McGuiness Batman in Batman Beyond.
Damn this is such an awesome mix. Next on my shopping list after AoS and LOTR
Glad to see Ventriloquist making an appearance at last! Now I have to justify another crew purchase….
“Also, that does look like something new and interesting in the background of these images, doesn’t it…”
Just so you know. That’s the cover of the 2nd Edition rule book in the background. They use it as a background on all the packaging so you know they are the resin casts.
Indded, the ‘unknown’ bit is to mark the free agents that can go into many crews, while Rebirth bats has the Brave & the Bold crew logo and Lex/Ventriloquist have Organised Crime logo.
