KLUKVA Get Into A Shootout With New Sci-Fi Cowboys
February 6, 2019 by brennon
Klukva is soon going to be expanding their range with a couple of new characters based on a rather well-known first-person shooter. Check out their clearly 'Not A Cowboy'...
This fellow is going to be available soon, fanning his revolver as he plugs fools with bullets. Or, as is usually the case with me, misses all of his shots and ends up dying without being especially effective.
If nothing else this fellow is going to be exceptionally fun to paint up. I'd love the idea of trying to match one of his costume designs to the sculpt. Every good cowboy needs a foe as well and that's where Klukva have also been working on this chap.
This chap might or might not have come from the same universe as our friend above. Well, who are we kidding...he certainly has. Once again, it'll be fun to paint him up and get him looking as close to his digital counterpart as possible.
Soon enough this collection from Klukva is going to end up featuring the entire cast and then you'll be able to play out a proper Overwatch (oops, said the name) game on the tabletop using one of the various different rules sets out there online.
I think Overwatch would make for an excellent board-based miniatures game!
What do you think?

Picked up their existing range and painted them up for my son. Found The Drowned Earth ruleset works well and gives a properly kinetic game feel.
‘The Over Lookers’ as Klukva calls them ;-p
That’s awesome 🙂
Great looking figure’s an the big Guy’s jacket looks fabulous.
BAAAAWB!!!! DOO SUMTHIN!!!
There was a comment on their facebook about wanting to use them in a 40k kill team, just picture how perfect it would be having them duking it out with a Kellermorph led Genestealer cult team!!!
IP theft much? It’s not even a parody. As much as I love the figs, I feel like this is pretty equivalent to advertising a recaster.
Lovely work and after seeing some of their stuff in the flesh they certain know how to cast some stellar miniatures.
That said, this isn’t even subtle anymore. This is pure and simply IP infringement they only get away with because they’re in the wild west of the east block. Kind of a shame they’re stuck ripping off someone else’s work rather than making something unique. They clearly have the talent!
