KLUKVA Adventure Through The Realms With Dad Of Boy
July 24, 2018 by brennon
The KLUKVA team are hitting up another well-loved franchise this week as they shared the preview images for their Dad Of Boy model which takes the Ghost Of Sparta and drops him into the world of Norse Mythology complete with Leviathan Axe and Guardian Shield.
Affectionately known as Dad Of Boy by the gaming community because of the phrases that he utters throughout the game and the close-knit relationship between the two throughout the story this gives you a pretty awesome version of the God Of War to paint up.
We haven't seen how KLUKVA will pose the hero just yet but I am imagining it will be based around him clutching the shield in front of him with axe to the side, or maybe with axe and shield in a lower position and him roaring out towards his enemies as if he's activated his talisman ability in game.
Kupper's Tracer!
As well as the work on Dad Of Boy we also have the renowned sculptor Piotr Kupper sculpting up his version of Tracer.
She is currently coming along very nicely indeed and I like what we're seeing of the model currently. It's neat to see her in that running pose, guns out, spraying bullets at her enemies before she blinks out of time and space and appears somewhere else.
Another very cool miniature to throw into the mix if you've been enjoying the Not-Overwatch range that KLUKVA Miniatures has been working on.
Once again, we must stress that yes...we know that this is copying an existing IP. Yes, we're aware that it would be nice to see someone do this legitimately. However, currently, this is the only way to get some of these beloved characters on the tabletop. With companies like Crooked Dice, Hasslefree and others doing similar projects for lots of well-loved TV shows, movies and video games from the past and present it seems odd to look a gift horse in the mouth?
Are you going to be snapping these up when they release?

Oooh Cheers Love!
I’m still waiting to get confirmation that they are making Boi of war too in 35mm scale; when I asked they said they were making him as part of a 75mm scale diorama, and asked if we needed him in 35mm scale too.
If you want to see Boi of War, drop them a line and show them your interest! 🙂
Great looking figure’s but the first shield looks like a fan cover I think
On the first image is back side of the shield 🙂
Those two are some great looking miniatures.
