Snag & Kitbash Turnip28 Miniatures With The Forlorn Hope

Max FitzGerald has hit Kickstarter with the first big collection of miniatures for use with his fantastically grim wargame, Turnip28. You're going to be able to dive in and pick up both digital and physical miniatures representing the twisted soldiers of the Turnip28 world.

The miniatures here have been designed by FitzGerald and then brought to life by the sculpting of Saint Decent (Instagram & Twitter). Turnip28 miniatures have existed officially up until now and many armies were formed of kitbashes between Napoleonic and Medieval kits alongside whatever root vegetables you could craft using modelling material and the like. Well, now you can get your hands on some rather lovely new kits.

The core pack is detailed above and whilst now representing official miniatures for Turnip28, they are still intended to be kitbashed and tweaked to suit the way you want your army to look. You get a bunch of arms, heads, bodies, legs, packs and other accessories to help make your vegetable regiments.

What's really fun about this Kickstarter is that they are offering up these miniatures as both digital STL Files that you can print off at home and 3D Printed resin packs! If you don't have access to a 3D Printer, you can still get your hands on these miniatures for your collection.

As a bonus, the rules have also been updated for Turnip28 with clarifications and more. You can still access the Turnip28 Rules from FitzGerald but those who pledge will get access to these updated rules as soon as they have been polished.

There are also Stretch Goals for you to dive into featuring lots of quirky character options and accessories that can be used to make your army feel a bit more unique. All of their designs are very inventive and it will be fun to see where people take these when they get their own on the painting table.
