Khurasan Miniatures Preview New 15mm Heroic Romans
December 15, 2020 by brennon
Khurasan Miniatures has been previewing what's up next for their Historical collection and it seems like 15mm Heroic Romans are on the cards. There was a glimpse of a few miniatures for the rank and file element of your army that popped up recently.

These Romans come out a little chunkier than others I would imagine hence the "heroic" addition to their range. Still, I think these would work perfectly well alongside a lot of the other Roman miniatures of this scale regardless. Here we have a Centurion for both the Legionaries and the Auxilia with two different Signifiers and a Cornicen.
There is a lot more to be added into the mix for this 15mm Roman collection and one such addition was the Trajanic Roman Carroballista!

This here was a mule-cart mounted piece of light artillery that the Romans would wheel into position to use in battle. It seems mad that even back then they had mounted artillery pieces to move around the battlefield. Still, it makes sense that they'd do something like this being so military-minded!
It's good to see that classic Roman look about their design with the armour and weapons. Perhaps if you've been sucked into Ancient wargaming by the likes of Barbarians then this might be worth keeping an eye on.
Are you a fan of these slightly more heroic Romans?

Well theyre nice, would be interesting seeing these vs other 15mm ranges. Paint job is superb.
Very nicely painted to show off that detail but I think I’d go with 6mm to achieve that mass. Nice looking minis.
the quality of the miniatures are fabulous at 15mm.
Those are really nice and detailed for 15mm..
