Zenit Miniatures’ Kensei Kickstarter Begins May 12th
May 11, 2017 by brennon
Zenit Miniatures has now dated and timed the launch of their Kensei Kickstarter which will bring a revamped rulebook and mechanics to the game. Watch out for it launching tomorrow, May 12th.
The times are given in the image above so if you're interested in getting in on this one you have the timings ready for you to jump in and get some of those early bird specials.
The game is also going to tied closer into Torii, their skirmish game set in the same universe.
It looks like we're going to be getting some big artillery pieces to play with if that cannon is anything to go by. I'd be interested to know if that's in anyway a historical piece or if it's something they've made up!
Will you be backing this one?

Yes Japan had cannons like this. I have seen some other designs that they are releasing based on the Shibatsuji cannons used in the early 1600s in your including the seage of Osaka castle in 1614. Some extra pictures have been going up in the ‘Kensei, torii, Ronni and other samurai miniatures games’ facebook group.
I can’t see anything unusual about it except it is on this wooden construction instead of wheels, why wouldn’t it be real?
