Kabuki’s Queen of Hearts Joins Their Fairy Tale Big Sisters
April 7, 2015 by dracs
Kabuki have announced that their Big Sister pin-up Red Riding Hood will be getting released shortly, but in the meantime they have begun work on their next fairy tale figure; The Queen of Hearts.
You know, I look at this miniature and I'm put in mind of Queenie from Blackadder II. OK, maybe not with the dress, but the coquettish nature crossed with an executioner's axe definitely evokes that childish glee she had in sending people to be executed.
In general design, the model looks interesting with plenty of little details going together to make up the character. Apparently, she is about 60% complete so we can hopefully expect a more finished version in the near future.
Are there any fairy tale characters you want Kabuki to make?

That looks very nice.
Looks like my neighbour – and she has an ‘Alice’ fixation. Maybe I should buy one for her? It is stunning.
queenie in Blackadder II didn’t look quite as good?
