Kabuki’s Latest WiP Hunts Aliens in the Dead of Space
January 16, 2015 by dracs
Kabuki Models have one more WiP to share with us this week, an Alien Hunter who looks incredibly familiar.
This highly detailed 30mm sculpt features the Alien Hunter cautiously making his way down the metal grill of space station, wearing the protective gear that gives him his iconic look.
Kabuki have, of course, come out with a sculpt heavily influenced by the main character of the Dead Space series, the first of which many viewed as one of the best modern horrors to come out at the time. At 30mm though, this has a lot more potential than just a collector's piece and I would love to hear of someone coming up with some Dead Space tabletop gaming scenarios.
What are your thoughts on Kabuki's Alien Hunter?
It’s a Dead Space guy!
yup I would say so dead space.
Well now, Isaac Clarke.
Looks pretty good, the pose is a little awkward for me but it might just be the angles of the render or some such.
Looks good though, has all the iconic details from the spinal healthbar to his shiny stripey visor plate.
I know noting of Dead Space but that is an intriguing sculpt.
Sweet! Probably the first mini from Kabuki that I must own. Clarke was pretty bad ass 😀
As a massive fan of Dead Space this has really got my attention,
and I can’t wait to see the finished model.
I NEED this after my Sedition Wars Isaac Clarke was a complete let down, like an “ouch” he;s ruined kind of let down, not to mention the pose was bad. This one by Kabuki is very dynamic and very well detail, no shrunken restic here.
Huge Dead Space fan here! Now all we need is some necromorphs, Unitoligists and either Kendra and Hammond or Ellie and crazy Doctor… now I wanna play those games again!
He’ll serve as engineer for my games of Sedition Wars 🙂
Nice looking render, there no point discussing about copyright, simply don’t buy it.
Cheers
We at Kabuki Models really love the Dead Space saga, in particoular the very first videogame.
It scared the shit out of us (in the good way!), and the iconic style of the protagonist had to be honored with a miniature!
