Kabuki’s First Knight Get Painted for His Box Art
April 15, 2015 by dracs
The First Knight of Kabuki's Knights of Legend range is soon to be released and has just appeared fully painted for its box art.
Now we see him fully painted, the grand, almost angelic character of the First Knight really shines through. The gold edging and iconography are particularly eye catching and serve to set off the rest of the model and mark out his status as the first.
Kabuki's Knights of Legend are a very popular selection of miniatures for collectors and gamers. The First Knight looks every inch the grand hero and leader he is supposed to be and I hope we see some awesome dioramas featuring him once he sees release.
Which of the Knights of Legend is your favourite?

Its cool, but I don’t get it. Its obviously supposed to be Horus, but its got the Emperor’s power claw… Derp.
To clearly make it non-IP infringing of course.
That is really impressive.
Those metallics are very well painted.
Just find any extra money that may be needed and buy the FW Horus, as outside of that use not sure why you would buy this.
Metallics are indeed excellently painted.
Great detail and amazing attention to detail but I don’t like it because his torso seems out of proportion to the length of his limbs…
Of course it could just be the photography. Or perhaps his head is too small? I don’t know…
He looks kina ridiculous.
…and on the first pic it looks like a real living dog is sitting on his back. Crazy.
Great model.
And great paint job.

The pose looks a little… off. The left leg appears to be dragging behind him, and it’s pointed straight out, which isn’t what I’d expect if he’s striding or leaning forwards, as appears to be the case.
just to collect and paint, some figures are art in themselves. I would not use them as stand in for the horus games 30k thing. Just get them to collect and paint nothing more.
