Join The State Or Pay In Across The Dead Earth Kickstarter

Dead Earth Games are closing in on their next target for Across the Dead Earth at £8000. The State are the big dogs in the post-apocalyptic future and if you want to live in their world you have to pay.
These guys are pretty much the faction for me if they hit their target. I love the look of the artwork and I reckon it would be fun to be the baddest of the bad guys in the post-apocalyptic future. While they might make you pay heavily for their protection at least you know they are going to be reliable if the money keeps coming.
One of the other cool things is that they are based in the ruins of old London town. Finally we're at the centre of some cool narrative! If they get past this stretch goal they also have another gang in the pipeline, the Sisters of Acquisition!
The game itself plays very nicely with a reactive overwatch style mechanic in play and a focus on getting closer to the target number when you're shooting (a bit like Infinity) making it a frantic game where plans can change on the fly.
Of course the game is also an ongoing thing so your men and women are going to get more skilled as time goes by.
Have you checked out Across the Dead Earth?

This game looks really cool (I love the banner art on the KS page showing the decrepit supermarket. It’s always nice to see a homegrown game enter the market 🙂
yes I be going to that supermarket tomorrow wonder if I should wreck it with a rpg like the fatboy mini
Kinda looks like the Crimea these days.
Looking forward to looting these guys with my own gang.
In post-apocalyptic U.K. The State loots you!
I’m waiting on the Murder of Crows gang. I can’t wait to see what they look like. I had a pet crow for 16 years and I have a soft spot for anything associated with them.
Did it talk? I never seen someone with a pet crow.
Not really he used to chunter quite a bit and he was a bit of a character. My wife used to rear a lot of orphaned wildlife and we were sometimes left with the odd one that would never be viable in the wild. So we would either find a home for it or keep it.
