Japanese Cavalry Ride Out of Tsuba Miniatures Next Year
December 26, 2014 by dracs
Tsuba Miniatures have announced that they will be releasing a new set of WWII Japanese Cavalry and recently revealed the command miniatures.
This command set, including an officer, ensign and bugler, come as both mounted and unmounted variants. These are a great idea as they add an extra level of dynamism to your games as you change miniatures depending on what is happening on the field of battle. This set will fit in well with any 28mm scale WWII Japanese force, whether they are for Bolt Action or Secrets of the Third Reich.
What are your thoughts on Tsuba's Japanese Cavalry?
What’s not I like. They look decent, but more importantly you get both mounted and dismounted, hopefully in the same pack.
Never used or faced cavallery in BoltAction so don’t know the rules but normal infantry without transport is a pain to get where you want in time as cavallery could be the answer.
Does Battlegroup Kursk and it’s expansions covet the Japanese yet? Don’t think so but cavallery in that rule set would be exciting.
These are kind of interesting. The rest of Tsuba Japenese ranges are for the Russian-Japanese War of 1905
Going by the look of these figures ( and its not a period I know a lot about) but they look of the uniforms they seem more suited to 1905 possibly WW1 rather than WW2
I think the same thing was said about the Japanese infantry Tsuba released sometime ago when it was written they were WW2 and they were in effect Sino -Japanese War infantry
