The Ito Clan is getting some ranged options in Bushido's next wave of releases as their archers appear on the battlefield.

Tamotsu

For their ranged support, the Ito prefer to use the traditional short bow over the black powder weapons favoured by the Prefecture of Ryu. The short bow may not have the range or stopping power, but it does allow its wielder to move easily through the jungle, striking swiftly and unexpectedly and, if I've learnt anything about the Ito, probably with poisoned arrows.

This concept shows off the character Tamotsu, described as a gifted scout and pathfinder. Most likely I would say that this miniature will have the opportunity to be assembled as either Tamotsu or as a standard archer, giving you some good options for the Ito faction.

Would you field this archer in Bushido? How useful is ranged weaponry in the game?

"Striking swiftly and unexpectedly and, if I've learnt anything about the Ito, probably with poisoned arrows."
