Infamy’s Goblin Chieftain Rides to War
October 19, 2015 by dracs
Infamy have finished sculpting up their Goblin Chieftain and are showing off their final sculpt before they send him out into the world.
The Goblin Chieftain is a fantastic sculpt, with intricate detailing on display everywhere, right down to the ornamentation of his lance.
Seeing it sitting, grinning atop that evil emu muppet of a monstrous mount, the model just has a ton of character that I think really captures the essence of fantasy gobbos.
This miniature is Infamy's first model outside of their usual steampunk comfort zone, a range which they plan to expand further in the future and give themselves a chance to stretch their sculpting muscles. This one is definitely an imaginative piece, and serves as a very promising start for these.
Do you like the Goblin Chieftain? What sort of model do you think Infamy should do next?

That looks really nice.
As far as I’m concerned Infamy Miniatures can do no wrong. Every mini that has their name on it is a beautiful sculpt of the highest quality. This guy looks incredible and looks like he’d tie in really well with some of the Labyrinth sculpts we’ve seen. (If it can be expanded on beyond the boardgame)
Agreed. I’m just waiting for James to deliver my printed rulebook from the KS! The models are amazing and just need the game to use them with now!
This goblin is great. Suitably evil-looking!
It’ll be a while for the printed book as the PDF playtest rules haven’t been released yet.
Simply awesome, the ostrich looks like it could be from kingdom death a bit
This is put together so well. I love the lance, that alone is a pretty original idea. The goblin himself looks to be an amazing sculpt while being very intricate and thought out as well. I love the mount, the little chicken wings are a great touch. What I like most is that it doesn’t look like something that a goblin couldn’t control, which is what a lot of fantasy games do now-a-days.
the model is gorgeous. I hope there is a game coming to go along with this.
brilliant love the details on the lance.
