Industria Mechanika’s Knight Locks N’ Loads For Combat
November 17, 2016 by brennon
Industria Mechanika makes some rather wonderful looking miniatures for the tabletop and The Knight is no different. Fancy tinkering on your own 1/35 scale Mech for use on the tabletop?
The Mech stands at around six inches tall and comes with a number of different load-out options which you can pick when you order it from their webstore.
You can either go with the Vulcan Cannons, the Artillery Cannons or the Rocket Launchers.
Each of these armament options can be swapped out and interchanged with the others so that you an kit out your Knight to deal with whatever comes its way.
It doesn't seem like the build for this is too complicated and it would be fun to run a few of these with the various weapon options equipped as part of a Sci-Fi game. Maybe you just ditch the rest of the models and just do some Mech-on-Mech deathmatches!
What do you think of this set?

That looks very nice. I do like rocket launcher + rocket launcher version more.
It does indeed look very nice, as do some of their other designs.
However, looking at their site, I couldn’t help but take in a rather deep breath at seeing the $149.99 price tag (it also seems like you have to say which set of arms you want, when placing an order).
Yes. You can also order all the arms for a $15 increase. Also, this is not a gaming mini. It’s a display resin model kit. $150 is not a bad price given that this is a high end garage kit.
I have a rather significant collection of the Industria Mechanika kits. And would love to see him do some of them in that 1:70–1:60 for wargaming purposes.
But, I don’t think I would use any of my existing collection for wargaming. The amount of hours that goes into building & painting these kits is significant enough that I wouldn’t want someone else to just casually pick it up off a table.
But, they are amazing static display models, that are full on worth picking up.
Their entire range looks amazing. A bit beyond my skills but amazing.
I’ve stated in the past that I’m not really a fan of walkers, given the superiority of tracks, but I can now see them actually having a purpose in specialized mountain units or pushing fire support into rubbled sections of a built-up area, provided they can adopt a reasonably low profile. I like the load out on this, cannon and gatling gun especially. The price tag, however, is eye watering, and almost double what a comparable GW walker costs (although admittedly it is sexier than the tottering chubby things GW puts out). How about a Robogear T-Rex walker for $7.00… Read more »
wow love it would have the Vulcan canons if I had the pennies.
I wonder what it looks like next to 28mm miniatures?
It’s a touch shorter than the GW knights.
Want. Very much want.
