Ill Gotten Games’ Monger, 3D Printable Wargame Hits Kickstarter

Ill Gotten Games have a fun little project for you to check out right now. Monger is a 3D Printable Sci-Fi grim-future skirmish game made in collaboration with James Ong.
Monger - 3D Printable Wargame // Ill Gotten Games
The game is based on their own CRUX tabletop gaming system and will be available as a free download later on down the line once the Kickstarter has been fulfilled. The game uses all of the basic polyhedral dice and is based on the key theme of fast resolution. There are no hit points and you don't do any wound tracking whereby miniatures are either defeated or saved by a roll.

There are also plans for campaign play where you'll be able to customise and tweak your units, delve into narrative scenarios and check out a host of tables for random events, injuries and the like. Classic campaign-based skirmish wargame stuff!

When it comes to miniatures, you can use whatever miniatures you like but the 3D Printable kit has been designed to be modular. So, you can build whatever group of scumbags and mercenaries you want to when it comes to diving into Monger.
James Ong's sculpts are around 30mm in scale although they can be scaled down if you like to 15mm. If you'd like to see how the miniatures look for yourself then you can pick up a free miniature HERE and test it at home.
I'm all for small, fun skirmish games and Ill Gotten Games have done some great work in the past. The fact that you get to kit-bash and customise to your heart's content has also piqued my interest.
What do you make of Monger?

I’ve got to give it to them. “Monger – Skirmish Wargaming in a Future without hope” is the most innovative new game title I have come across recently. Awesome. Future doesn’t have to be grim dark… can be happy bright and still without hope! Love it!
You mean real life then sundancer!?
I approve of this post!
hate “grim dark” as a term, the future should be bright and hopeless.
The figures do look good for this game.
Shame they are 3D printer jobs.
