ICv2 Gets Look At Lucius Malfoy & More For Harry Potter Game
May 31, 2017 by brennon
Continuing to build on their previews for the Harry Potter Miniatures Game that is coming later this year, Knight Models let ICv2 show off a sneak peek at Lucius Malfoy and more...
Lucius Malfoy is looking very much like his film counterpart here, and it's something that Knight Models appears to have nailed when it comes to their sculpting for this line of miniatures.
Stat Cards & More
We also got to see some more of the Spell Cards in the game with a preview that hint at some of the mechanics...
While before we got a look at spells in the game, these appear to be focused in around items that you can equip to your characters with both a knife and potion.
We also got a look at the character card for Bellatrix Lestrange which was cool.
It shows off the characters stats on the one side and then a place to slot your character's spells and other items as well. It's very much in keeping with the style that we've seen from Knight Models before.
Hopefully, we'll get a look at the Beta Rules soon.
What do you think?

so consistently good I just expect beautiful sculpts from them now.
I do like the spell book look of the cards, understated but very apt. not sure i’d go with a colour picture in the corner though as it breaks the aesthetic, pencil drawing or just text would be better.
as for the rules, still not enough for me to go on yet, fingers crossed.
looks to be a interesting if complicated game.
This is certainly an interesting line…..Knight models do consistently good stuff. Looks like they will have a lot of model options available at launch
That is crazy, I mean it really freaks me out.
I say this every time, but I cannot wait for this game!!
Now community, what size board and what scenery do you think this game will use? I’m going to get a board ready now!
Looks great, amazing sculpts. Interesting to see how the game works, might be a good stepping stone to get non-gamers into the hobby. There’s a lot of potter fans out there!
That is really good sculpt.
I’m loving everything they’ve previewed so far. Hoping to see more rules soon. The customizable character card is great but I worry about how those cards will be released. If I can pick up a deck of cards with everything I’ll be happy, but if they go the way of X-Wing, releasing specific upgrades with each model, it will be a deal breaker for me.
I’m not familiar with the films, but I know a great mini when I see one.
Those cards look really nice, and fit nicely into the look wizard printed stuff in the movies, but jeez are they hard to read at a glance… not great from a gaming point of view.
