August 18, 2015 by brennon
The Icarus Project from Icarus Miniatures is coming to Kickstarter on September 7th 2015 and in preparation for that they've shown off the finalised miniature for Gabriel Cross both with his helmet and without...
Know His Face
First up we have the unhelmeted version of Gabriel Cross who you can find out more about via their Blog which contains all sorts of awesome background information on him and his character.
I think the stance is very relaxed but looks like he means business, sizing up one of his enemies from afar before he brings him in.
Meaning Business
When tackling foes in zero gravity or on dangerous worlds Gabriel Cross dons his helmet as you can see below. It is a very neat looking design and it's almost too hard to choose between one or the other. Maybe it's best to do some magnetising with this chap?
I think you'll agree that he is a great first time miniature from these guys and you should keep an eye out for what else is coming down the pipeline. In the mean time you can download the rules for free below...

Magnetising?
No, I think I just order two of him. 🙂
Get in line! 🙂 I think they have donated the first resin master to the poppy’s angels auction, so might have to buy some more tickets there too!
@jammyjim is right, the first copy of Gabriel is going up as part of the Poppy’s Angels charity auction. There’s a whole load of amazing prizes up for grabs.

Bears a very striking resemblance to the Kyle Reese mini from the Terminator:Genesis game….
Nice detail but very static pose, almost like he’s at shooting range.
